The BioSys management structure consists of the Supervisory Board (SB) for decision making (assisted by the FCUL PhD academic office), the Selection Committee (SC) nominated annually (i.e., per each BioSys edition), the Training Board (TB) to coordinate all joint training actions and the external Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to monitor the progress of research (Figure 1).
